Applied standards
- TCVN 3223:2000 E513
- ASME/AWS A5.1 E7015
- JIS: D5016
Characteristics – applications:
- 6B – VDis the electrode under low-hydrogen group. Weld metal has a low hydrogen content, thereby limiting cracks. The welded points are ductile. Welding slags are easily blistered and cleaned without splashing and explosion.
- Suitable for welding low-carbon and low-alloy steel under 490~550 Mpa load such as building structures, mining gallery, kicker, ferry dock, etc.

Instructions for use:
- Clean oil, grease and dust before welding
- Dry the electrode at 300 ~350 0 C for 30 ~60 minutes before welding
- Process welding edges as regulated
- Select appropriate welding current to avoid possible defects
- Use direct current – positive electrode for welding (DC+)
